As
the "personnel" committee of the presbytery, the Committee on Ministry
performs all those tasks listed in section G-11.0502 of the Book of Order.
These tasks include
dissolving
the pastoral relationship
monitoring
participation in the pension plan
administering
emergency grants and salary supplements
determining
compensation and benefits - e.g., mileage, vacation, continuing education
reviewing
calls to ministers by congregations
establishing
administrative commission to ordain and install ministers
