New Faces at the Presbytery Office

During the past month you have been hearing a new and strong voice welcoming you when you call the Presbytery office.  Wanda Morgan is our new Coordinator of Resources.  She comes to us after 22 years as the Office Manager for the Maryland PTA. Wanda is a graduate of Baltimore Community College.  She has a wide ranging set of duties.  She’ll manage the office and the Resource Library, provide staff support for Peter, Charles, Bill and their committees, and coordinate Presbytery meetings and events.

Rita Walters will be joining us on November 1 as the Director of Development.  She comes to us after working in development with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Central Maryland and Baltimore Reads.  Rita is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University.  She is married with two children.  In her position, Rita will be responsible for encouraging churches to support the annual mission budget of the Presbytery as well as developing major gifts campaigns for the ministries of the Presbyteries.  She will be working closely with Bill Millen and committees such as SAMI and New Churches for a New Day.  Rita’s position is half-time.

In addition, Janice Kominski has accepted the position of Coordinator of Communications and will begin in January.  The committee interviewing for the Associate for Mission and Justice hopes to have a candidate by the end of November. More will be said about these new staff later.  Please welcome Wanda and Rita the next time you call or visit the Presbytery office.
