The Presbytery of Baltimore is guided in grace by Jesus Christ to develop healthy congregations and leaders; and, to provide the means by which we, as Presbyterians, may do together in mission what no one congregation can do alone. Through the work of its staff, the Presbytery seeks to fulfill the church’s mission by focusing on evangelism, justice, advocacy, community service, stewardship, Christian education, care of clergy and broad inclusivity within the church. It provides churches and their leaders with resources, guidance and assistance -- as well as -- support and information, funding, training and a variety of other programs and services.

General Presbyter, Peter K. Nord                 This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  (ext. 107) Under the leadership of the General Presbyter, Rev. Peter K. Nord, the Presbytery builds collaborative relationships among its churches and ministers. Peter serves as staff liaison to the Ministry, Council and Personnel committees. He also ensures the Presbytery’s vision through the implementation of its mission design.

Assoc. General Presbyter, Rev. David C. Harris This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. (ext. 103) supports the major change effort of the Presbytery as well as staffs commissions on Spiritual Leadership Development and Thriving, Reconciling Congregations. Rev. Harris also provides clergy support and resources congregational development.

Stated Clerk, Catherine G. Blacka,                     This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. (ext. 104) provides consultation on matters of Presbyterian polity and policy. The Stated Clerk also serves as the conduit for official communication among the church’s governing bodies. She also provides assistance to Clerks of Session and verifies church minutes and records.

Assoc. for Reconciliation, Deborah Milcarek This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. (ext. 105) The Presbytery is an agent of support and transformation for its member congregations. It engages in mission – both, locally and throughout the world – endeavoring to enhance the quality of life for all of God’s creation. Deb Milcarek, the Associate for Reconciliation. She promotes awareness of global and local mission projects and encourages programmatic partnerships between sessions, mission agencies and the Presbytery.

Director of Presbytery Events & Services, Wanda Morgan This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. (108) Wanda Morgan is usually the first line of contact for members who call or visit the Presbytery. Wanda managed daily operations, coordinates events and gatherings and provides resources to meet the various needs of pastors and their congregations. She also runs the day-to-day operations of the Presbytery office.

Director of Finance, Judith Forrester    This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  (ext. 102) As Director of Finance, Judi maintains the Presbytery’s financial records and reports and is a resource to churches seeking information about pastor pension plans, factoring system, clergy compensation and financial regulations.

(ext. 100) The Coordinator of Communications is Deborah Greene. Deborah designs and prepares brochures, mailers and other print and web-based communications for the Presbytery. She also publishes the Presbytery’s E-weekly Tidings newsletter and manages its website. Her work encourages a distinctive and consistent “look and feel” of the Presbytery’s message.

Director of Public Policy, Julie Erickson            This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. The Presbytery is a strong advocate for peace and justice. Julie Erickson, Director of Public Policy, advocates for social justice issues important to congregations within the Presbytery. Julie cultivates a spirit of advocacy by seeking input from sessions and their members on public policy issues. She is the Presbytery’s presence in Annapolis during the Maryland General Assembly’s legislative session.
