The Presbytery of Baltmore has been on a year-long journey to revision -- and discern -- "where God is leading us." This journey has ventured us through numrous small group discussions, cluster gatherings and inquiries. Looking backward, you can see the work that led up to the September 2010 vote to adopt our current vision. Once the vision was approved the Presbytery began to imagine how it would live into this new ideal. Leaders, elders and other members of the congregation engaged in imagining its new vision through a variety of methods. You can see the fruit of this labor by accessing the journey album below.

Implementing the Vision
It is anticipated that the Presbytery will begin the two year experiment of living in to its vision in September 2011 as the structure, budget and staff are put into place. In the Spring 2013, the experiment will be evaluated by the Presbytery and it will decide whteher to formalize the experiment, make changes or return to what existed prior to 2011. The Presbytery may make adjustments along the way given the dynamic and fluid nature of this journey as we live into our new vision of what God is "calling us to be and do."
