TRUSTEES

 

The Trustees of the Presbytery of Baltimore are incorporated under the laws of the State of Maryland by act of the General Assembly, 1890.  There are ten trustees, including the Moderator of the Presbytery, ex officio, four ministers and five lay persons, at least one of whom will be an elder, elected by the Presbytery at its June meeting in classes for three year terms. In accordance with the incorporating statute the Trustees will have full power and

  authority to acquire, take and hold, by subscriptions, contributions, legacies, devices or any other method, money or real or personal property, of every kind and description to hold or invest and use for purposes of the Presbytery as the Presbytery will direct from time to time. The powers and duties of such Trustees will not infringe upon the powers and duties of the Presbytery.
