NEW CHURCH DEVELOPMENT

praise

The Presbytery of Baltimore seeks to create new worshipping communities throughout Maryland.  We are currently spending a year to develop a new vision for how we will develop new congregations.  However, we continue to honor Christ’s command to go into the world and disciplize.

In 2010 we formed our first partnership, Living Faith Fellowship, formally New Imani Community Church.  This spirit filled group is led by Commissioned Lay Pastors Anita Bishop Johnson and Donna Lee.  This worshipping fellowship meets in Owings Mills at . . . .

In addition, we are following through on a commitment to raise $250,000 for the first building at St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Mt Airy.  This building will begin in 2011.
